Growing my potatoes in these bags this year. I wish the bottom holes had some mesh over them to keep the dirt in better, but overall if you're not moving the bags around too much, that really isn't an issue. We are growing 4 types of potatoes this year, so I was excited about the price and when they arrived, I was excited to see that they appear to be pretty well made.

I used them mostly for growing Irish potatoes in, and it was a success! Harvested approx 30 potatoes out of 2 bags. I wanted just enough to have some fresh garden produce for my table, and I had plenty. I'm trying sweet potatoes in one bag just to see if they will produce, haven't harvested those yet. Put squash plants in another and got a few squash off those. The bags can be put wherever you want. I will be using these bags again.

These are shorter than photo and I'm glad. Holds 10 gallons of soil mix and built sturdy. I can think of more than just planting potatoes in them...like peeking at your carrot, turnips, radish, rutebega roots before they are big enough to dig, planting Jerusalem Artichoke to control being overrun with too many, store root crops in the cellar in dry sawdust....I wonder what else I'll use them for? Collecting chopped leaves from the mower to drag to the compost pile, a compost pile, oversummer my plug trays and pots. 5*

The potato bags are well made and seem like they will last for several growing seasons. They are quite a bit smaller than they appear in the photos, but since there are four of them that shouldn't be a problem. I like that they are light and small enough to be moved around, which allows for trying different spots to see where the plants grow best. I see that others are using them for peppers. I like that idea, and may try it myself next season.

These are very good and durable bags...I used to plant potatoes and so far the potatoes are doing well. They are really tall and I may use for future planting and just remember to add a little more soil to the bag for those vegetables that grow larger. I also like the window and it helps to check on the soil in the bag and the potato roots as they grow to prevent rotting and bugs.

HANDY, Cost effective . We are using them to grow potatoes. Just planted them a week ago and they are growing. I like the bags cause I can move them around easily. it also lets me use an area for them that has rocks as a ground cover, giving me more planting space. Very Handy indeed!

I am so happy with this product! I planted sweet potato plants in one, carrot seeds in the other, watermelon and cantelope in another, and zuchinni and spaghetti squash in the other. I don't have ground space, but this is perfect for container gardening on my deck. I'm ordering 4 more for beets, lettuce and onions. Makes a great container garden, and portable too.

These seem like they are study and well put together. I'm not sure if I will be able to harvest in the bag through the flap, but I'm pleased with the size. I didn't think about folding them down and then unfolding as they grew like someone else did, I'll try that next year or this fall with the second go. But I used some stakes in the handle straps to hold them open instead, and it seems to be working.

I bought the pack of 4 and have used 3 so far. I'm growing 3 potato varieties and they are already starting to sprout! So much fun and because they aren't heavy, they're easy to move. I've got them tucked in between my flowering perennials and one on the decorative rocks. I've rolled the sides down for a more shallow planting and will be adding soil and unrolling the sacks as the greens grow taller. I can really see growing a whole vegetable garden this way.

I can't tell you how well they will do long term just yet, but I love them compared to the more fabric type that I used last year. I reused some of the fabric ones, but they're floppy and the sides don't stand up until they're filled with dirt. These ones stay up even when the soil is low. I haven't used the flap to harvest any potatoes, because it's just too soon, but so far I ordered another set to grow some more potatoes.

So far so good. Ordered these a few weeks back. I have planted potatoes and within 9 days they are already growing. I also planted pepper plants and they are blooming. I am definitely ordering more to plant tomatoes and onions.

I bought a pack of 4 of these bags for my wife. The material is very sturdy. She tried different vegetables in different bag and all of them are doing great. My wife is very happy with these bags.

I really wanted to grow some fingerling potatoes but didn't have a garden space for mounding. This is perfect! I've just planted my potatoes with a layer of dirt over. Anxious to see starts so I can keep layering, then reaping the rewards!
